- Lions Camp Badger
Camp Badger needs our help! The State Education Department recently inspected the camp facilities and are requiring several costly
improvements be made. Some of these improvements include establishing a telephone system that serves each camp building, installing a new
roof on the main dining hall, replace the walk-in cooler and freezer, make all buildings and walkways handicap accessible, and pave the driveway and
walkways. Camp Badger relies heavily on Clubs and individuals for funding. Your club recently received raffle tickets in the mail.
I strongly encourage your club or members to purchase these tickets to help fund some of these costly improvements.
In addition, many items are needed each year to run the camp. You can view this year's wish list online at http://69.36.70.70/esshc/wish_list.html.
- Lions Camp Hickory
Gearing up for their 5th summer! Lions Camp Hickory is located in Lions Community Park in Baldwinsville. This year 40 Type 1 Diabetic children are expected to attend the two week
session in July. Cost of campus operations runs between $20,000 - $25,000 each summer. Donations are greatly appreciated!
- 20-Y1 Peace Poster Winner sponsored by Morrisville Lions!
Laura Konieczko will be presented with a plaque and $100 savings bond for her winning entry at the Cabinet Meeting or

- American Red Cross Blood Drives
A great way to give back to your community is to become a blood drive sponsor. The Hamilton Lions Club has been sponsoring the Hamilton Community Blood Drive since September 2002. Being the sponsor helped attract new members and has been a great promotional tool for the club. There are no costs involved in being a sponsor - just your time and desire to help others. There are currently community blood drives in all of your communities and they need your help! Visit www.donatebloodnow.org to learn more. If you have questions please email me at jservedio@colgate.edu or call me at 824-8291.
